Harald's training and the first quests in Ashfall
The tutorial is called Harald's training, and finishing it awards the Harald's Pupil badge. In it, the Combat Instructor teaches you to block and parry with the F key. Learn this first: the official description says you knock enemies down and then grip them to finish the fight, so surviving their hits matters more than raw damage.
After the lesson, a video shows Captain Paul sending you to light street lamps while monsters attack. This comes from a single video, so quest details may change. The developer has not published a full control list yet; we will add it when a source confirms it.
Redeem codes and join the group

From the town you can turn Vampire, Werewolf or Mage, or take up the stake as a Hunter. Each path has its own questline and tiers. You do not need to rush: nothing stops you from learning the combat as a Human first.
